Gas Engineer

Responsibility:

Engineering lead to coordinate the design and implementation of new Green Hydrogen installations participating in projects from concept through commercial operations start. We’re seeking individuals who balance their time well between office and fieldwork and are comfortable participating in multiple projects. Coordination between multiple stakeholders including vendors, construction, agencies, clients, and power generation teams.

Successful Candidates Are:

  • Experienced in Gas Engineering from generation through storage.

  • Goal Oriented With a Focus on Building New Generation Assets

  • Self-Directed Individuals Comfortable Coordinating External Teams

Qualifications:

  • Masters of Science in Chemical Engineering

  • 7+ Years of Engineering Experience

  • Understanding of Regional Compliancy & Codes

  • CPE Certification

  • Ability to Translate Plans to Field Teams

  • Physical Ability to Work Outdoors On Your Feet For long periods of Time

  • Experience with Gas Generation & Exposure to Intermittent Power Generation 

  • Extreme Environments Including Sun, Rain, Cold, Heat

  • Clear Verbal & Written Communication Skills

  • Travel Up To 25-35% of the Time.

  • Ability to work in the market (no sponsorship available)


Financial Energy Analyst 

This is a rare opportunity to join an innovative energy storage company as part of the Commercial Team. Lamplighter Energy, Inc. is at the forefront of energy storage solutions for commercial and large-scale applications. We are seeking an experienced analyst to join the leadership team at our North America or Asia centers.

The Investment Analyst will report to the Commercial Director and perform an economic analysis of proposed energy generation and storage projects to determine their feasibility and make recommendations regarding their configuration. They will also work closely with both Sales and Production Engineering, with input into commercial terms and the refinement of product design.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial modeling and energy simulations

  • Prepare regional case studies and desktop summaries

  • Optimize financial structures based on different country accounting and tax rules

  • Support Commercial Director and Finance teams on capital structuring.

  • Analyze economic feasibility for the implementation of energy storage with prospective customers and draft proposals.

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research including sensitivity analysis and risk mitigation.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years experience as investment/financial analyst in energy, PE or consulting firm.

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in a financial, engineering, scientific, or other numerate disciplines from a reputable institution. (graduates who can demonstrate a sound background in finance and understanding of power markets may also be considered.)

  • Project finance in the energy sector

  • High-level proficiency in building financial models

  • Clear communication skills on complex topics, including fluency in English

  • Highly organized, logical, and excellent attention to detail

  • Ability To travel to the U.S.
