R. André De Rosa
CEO & Board Chair
Mr. De Rosa started Lamplighter Energy in 2002 to re-power existing wind farms, having grown to deliver over 2,300 MW of wind, solar, and hydro. In addition new initiatives in, Hydrogen, Energy Storage and Water Treatment Systems since 2011. With roles serving in finance, high tech and turn around team for a publicly traded company and a private R&D technology company. Mr. De Rosa studied Theology and Management at Moody Bible Institute and has helped start 7 international non- profits serving the disadvantaged in the US, Africa & Asia.
Tom Soto
Board of Directors
His distinguished service has lead him to roles at the White House serving under President Clinton, having started the first Climate Focused Investment Fund sold to TCW and supporting numerous initiatives and companies seeking to navigate the State, Federal and Utility communities in California. Tom directly supports Lamplighters government and utility relations domestically and abroad using his C- - level connections to insure projects are built in partnership with utility buyers. Mr. Soto has a BA in political science from UCLA.
Fred Schwartz
Board of Directors
Having served 19 years in renewable energy development and management, Mr. Schwartz has lead development efforts for the City of San Francisco, and Northland Power prior to joining Lamplighter as a Senior Advisor. In his role he guides the staff and growth of the company as well as directing R&D and related University partnerships. Mr. Schwartz serves as professor of renewable energy at York University and Deputy Director of the Silicon Valley Consortium for renewable energy and carries degrees from McGill and York University.
